I hosted my son's birthday party at the Canalta hotel's swimming pool. The facility was very nice. No complaints there. When I called the day of my son's birthday to ask a question, I was told I didn't have it booked for that day, it had been booked for a month later. They remedied that quickly, which I appreciated. However, I assumed that we were the only ones who had access to the pool during this time, which was not the case. I understand after thinking about it, that they can't bar other guests from using the pool, but I wish that I would have been told that before booking. I could have taken everyone to the public pool for more time for much, much less money. I chose the Canalta because of my assumption that I was "renting it out" not "paying admission". I really was disappointed that this was not conveyed while booking.
Nice big room. Clean. Very friendly staff. Free breakfast was a big bonus. Ten percent off at Boston Pizza was also nice!
Pleasant stay. Staff were courteous and friendly. Room was clean. Just stayed overnight so the minimal contact we had was good.
Amazing service. The hotel staff were very helpful and kind. My car had a problem and they were willing to let me stay for the day to get it fixed. Being a holiday day and nothing was open they helped me find a mechanic and pulled some strings to get me in. Eternally greatful for the service that we received. If you need to book please call the hotel directly their online service goes to the states first and charges more.
Great staff and clean for the most part. However desperately needs updating. Fitness room is hurting bad and mattresses are old springs . All in all its Ok but not first choice.
