Very disappointed with how wide open this place is for RV/Tent trailer camping. No privacy between sites. No mature trees in this area at all. Not at all what we expected out of a Campground. We moved on to Crimson Lake. Way better. The owners were very gracious, however, and refunded us our money, which they didn't have to do.
Beautiful campsite. If you want a spot on your own, take the sites down by the river, just gorgeous. Cleanest showers I've ever experienced on a campsite.Fabulous store with some really nice gifts and all the essentials you tend to forget when travelling.Staff are friendly and helpful
Fantastic campsite with friendly staff, very clean washrooms and showers, great playground for kids. Our extended family had a great time camping here. We all agreed we want to return next year.Location is great as well - right next to the river, and just a few minutes away from the town of RMH.
We have been camping at Riverview Campground for the last 4 years! It is the only place to go in our opinion. The owners are exceptional and are extremely customer service oriented which is why there are so many return customers at Riverview.The bathroom facilities are meticulously kept and are always clean. There are showers up top and for a loonie you can have a hot shower. Down below where the other sites are, they just put in brand new restrooms! These too are spotless!There is a ton to do for the kids! There is a playground, basketball court, volleyball net, frisbee golf, and pedal go carts! The North Saskatchewan River is right there so you can dip your feet in or float down the river when you want to cool yourself off.The sites are large and offer full services (power and water), but if you prefer to tent along the river they also offer non-services sites. All of the sites have a fire pit and picnic table. They also have a new store that has everything that you need from firewood, ice, and trailer supplies to gifts, ice cream and munchies!! The owners make sure your stay at Riverview is comfortable and relaxing. Although there's lots of fun and activity in the day...they make sure that during the 'quiet' hours there are no rowdies blasting their music or causing a commotion. We will definitely be back next season and will enjoy the rest of the summer at our beautiful site!!! Thanks Johan and Danielle for having the best Campground in Alberta!!
Pleasant people. Very willing to help make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. Love the grassy sights. Very quiet. Awesome kids play area with lots of other families. Washrooms very clean.
