This place is amazing! Cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen, friendly staff, excellent sites. Hundreds of trails right from your campsite. Everything you could ask for and more.
I called this campground on a Thursday before the 10 th annual snow and mud atv rally was to start the next day . i had only heard of the event on the Wednesday evening and called first thing the next morning thinking there was no way i was going to be able to stay there and join the event on Saturday. but , when I called the gentleman on the phone not only explained the event and to contact Tyler at Mud and snow to get tickets to the rally he had pulled a rabbit out of his hat and got me a site to stay in. I wont go into details , but the place was fully booked before i had called and he did it ! . I explained i would not arrive until late Friday night . He had posted my site map with my name and site info out front of the office in the event I was to late for the office staff.. We were treated excellent and got to out site . The gentleman next to us is a seasonal guest there and offered us fire would along with refreshments and we ended joining in there fire that night . The people at this campground were very friendly and we met so many of them over the weekend . The event was a fantastic weekend and was very well organized . I will be returning here again and again . Thanks to all the people who made this weekend possible .. Jon.
NOT RECOMMENDED FOR OHV/ATV/DIRT BIKE USE. THERE ARE NO TRAILS DIRECTLY ACCESSED FROM THIS CAMPGROUND YOU MUST ILLEGALLY RIDE ON LEASE ROADS OR THE HIGHWAY TO ACCESS ANY TRAILS.Also, trails that can be accessed from the service roads are few and far between and are NOT recommended for kids- they mostly lead to large steep hills or quickly lead to dead ends. When I asked at the front desk where to find decent trails for children, I was told to ride down a lease road to the PAVED highway, ride the ditch of the highway and cross the highway to another range rd. I personally am not comfortable with myself or my child breaking the law.As far as the campground for camping purposes,it is fairly adequate although quite expensive. We paid for a week and left earlyWe had high hopes for spending our valuable summer vacation time trail riding. This is not a place for that. I do not recommend this campground . I stand behind this review 100% and feel it should be taken as a warning to avoid this place for the purpose of off road use.
My daughter had her wedding here and the owners were amazing. They went out of their way to make it a special day. Everything about this campgound is great, washrooms were clean, sites were big and clean, quite and friendly. Easy access to the nearby trails. Definitely recommend this place to everyone. If i could give it a higher rating i would
