Great place to camp. Has some awesome walking/biking trails. Great place to Kayak and SUP. Has good showers ($2 for 7 min)My only complaint is the firewood, it is pretty expensive if you want a fire every night as you have to pay for the wood and you don't get much for what you pay for.

Maybe it's because I'm sentimental, but this is one of my favourite places on Earth. The lake has lots of room to play, the campground is beautiful and often in demand. The camp store is bountiful and the nearby cabin community has some amazing cabins. The beach gets sun all day long, so it's easy to keep warm and enjoy the water. Close enough to Rocky Mountain House I'd you forget to bring supplies too.

Great spot to spend a summer day in the foothills. Shallower beach for the kids. Big enough to do some boating in.

Great place to spend the day or a weekend. The trail around the lake (a hair under 10km) is incredible. The lake is just your average Alberta lake (a little swampy and leaches) but the beach is great. The campsite is your average provincial park setup: well taken care off but with limited services. The store is well stocked, tough town in only 15 minutes away.

Sites are private from each other, kept very clean, hot showers with running toilets there, also have outhouses around camp areas, and the beach has many feet of wading area for little ones and goes deeper towards the boundary, also a store there if you forgot something. Great place to stay. Also just out of camp area is a petting zoo bring your quarters for little ones to feed animals
